When I bought my 01 ZR it had the low black Team Arctic windshield on it

The problem is it seems like something was spilled on it

and the finish seems not great

the inside is a nice gloss like it should be but the outside is censored.gif

Can I buff this out dunno.gif

or sand and polish it back to a high gloss aka like I normal windshield or am I SOL?

Here is a pic of what I am talking about

Try the Cat Hood and Windshield Polish/Cleaner.
It's amazing what it can do with a little elbow grease. :div20:

The Turtle Wax Scratch Remover stuff is getting good reviews...for windshields and hoods.

Good luck.

2000 ZR
lol ok ok, fdont get to carryed away delgaty. and btw i love your little smiley hahaha, i couldnt stop laughing. but yeh man use the turtle wax, great stuff. to me it doesnt look like anything to be worryed about, looks like a little spill, should come rightoff.
FreezerBurnt
Thats not the real problem

The whole windshield looks like shit, its like the finish turned all grayish black
Downriver Thunder
Freez, chuck it and get a new one. You spent the money on the machine you've been waiting for, make it perfect. It looks like something got on it that's eating it away.
FreezerBurnt
I already got a new windshield 2 weeks ago, a high Sportech one :cn:

But I wanted to try to make this one look good

aka have a high and a low windshield

Good news the Turtle Wax Rubbing compound did an excellant job at removing the fallout that was all over the windshield and now is back to its glossy self :div20:

But the stuff that looks like some sort of liquid that was spilled did not all come out

So I might just paint it instead Yellow

looks kinda like pine pitch dunno.gif , do you know if the sled sat outside? maybe before painting it you could try some prepsol and see if that works...
FreezerBurnt
The guy I bought the sled from had it in a barn with 4 other sleds

I am beginning to think it was bird shit that sat a bit too long thus leaving the streak :cn:

But as for the rest of the shield it seems only it was affected as the cab itself had no stuff on it dunno.gif
Nitrosleds
did you figure any thing out ? I would say try buffing it with rubing compound and see what happens what ya got to loose
I was thinking the same thing probably pigeon shit lol
well any way gl
