i got a 1976-1978 (not sure exact year) with what seems to be a problem with the track. After putting the suspension in, track tension bolts all the way out, the track seems very tight. With the sled level on the ground, the front of the rails sit on the ground, but the back of the rails are up about 3/4" off the ground. With the sled running and track rotating, the track hits the front rails.
Could this be the wrong track? Anyone have part numbers?
Thanks

If you have the adjustment bolts all the way out and it's still tight, I would think it' the wrong size or the wrong track for the year sled.

count how many windows there are on that track and let me know.
i will try and match it up to how many you are suppose to have that way you will know if you have the wrong track....it kinda sounds like your rails could be bent

do the rails still hit when you sit on it because my friends dad is restoring his 340 0lympique and the back of the suspension is off the ground about an inch it looks like its ready for grass draging but when weight is applyed to it the whole thing is touching. that may help you and it might not.
