My dad and Uncle were up in Grand Mari last weekend; they saw a guy pulling a skier in the bay. According to them, the guy went around a few times in the bay pulling the skier. They went over to talk to the guys and they had left the sled on the shore to get there truck or? So they did not get a chance to talk to them. I guess the sled had long track with a 2" paddle. Just wondering if anyone had seen this or knew the guys? Of course they did not have a camera but said it was pretty cool.

No kidding pictures, so you’re saying that it would really help in a posting to have pictures then huh? I will send them back up to watch if the guys come back or go out and then have them take some pictures for us.
Again I was just wondering if anyone had seen it or knew the guys.
Here is a picture for ya!

I have pulled a waterskier with a sled 3 different times. The first time was at a watercross in central MN. back in 1985 with a 83 Indy 600 with a 660 big bore kit. A friend of mine was in charge of puting on the race and he asked all the racers if they would give it a try pulling the skier and nobody would do it so I was his last resort. We took off with the skier in the water and me parallel with the shore and as soon as the skier got up I hit the water and went all the way around the pond. It was the hit of the watercross. Pretty cool memories. Riley

It's true. A guy that I work with saw the same sled/water skier last year on the 4th of July in the bay at GM. Sorry, no pictures.
