I rode probably 3-4 times this year in Walworth County on the trails. It has been a couple years since I have in SE WI because of lack of snow. It's pretty frustrating when you spend darn near a month getting permission and putting in trails without being able to use them. I am President of the Walworth County Snowmobile Alliance, so if you are looking for good areas to ride in the Twin Lakes, Walworth County area let me know.

I live just on the IL side. Yes we have have very few good days of riding in the last few years. Even when we do get a good snow fall, instant crowds everywhere. But, if you like snowcross racing, visit twin lakes WI on the weekends because they usually run Winter Thunder Challange. Hey 1badHO, since your head of the alliance you probably know the president of my club, Richmond Trailblazers, Richmond IL.

Awesome, you bet I will. Driving all the way up north 8-12 hours for a few hours ride time is somewhat tiring, especially when one of my buddies AC's won't stay running for more than a few minutes.
Are there any hotels on the lakes you could suggest I call?

There are actually two right near Delavan Lake with excellent access to the trails. Royal Inlet Motel (262) 728-9399, and the Lakeview Motel (262) 728-4487. Both are in very close proximity to fuel, food & beverage.

nice place, the trail is just across the street. my olny ride was there last winter put 150 miles on in 24 hours and had a blast. plus it olny takes an hour to get there if traffic is good.
