Two of the best places IMO to choose from, very nice :div20: My Brother-in-laws Grandparents have a cabin right on Lake Minoqua, well right at the begining of the channel between Lake Minoqua and Mud Lake I believe. We go up there at least Once a month, providing there is enough snow.

Id LOVE to have a cabin on Lake Minoqua! Nice girls sunning on boats all summer long going past your house, and then GREAT access to just about every trail in that area all winter long. Lucky Grandparents-in-law there! Maybe when I retire!

Im pretty sure my father-in-law lives in Weston. He's right off the highway X exit on Hwy 29, just behind an elementary school about a mile north of the exit, right on Hwy X I believe.

I heard Weston Fire Department just bought a brand new VERY nice fire truck, and ended up giving it to Wausau Fire Department so it would always be staffed. Good to see two Fire Depts. working together like that to get the most use out of it!
ProX01kid
Waukesha here, most of my riding ended up being on the Fox River from Big Bend south to lake Tichigan. Put a few miles on the trails that come off the south end of the lake last year when we had the big one. Not much for grooming but cant complain with the lack of snow lately. Other places rode last year are Hurley and usually in the Dunbar area.

Thiniking of a Wisconsin vacation the first part of August. Where should we go (me, wife, two boys 10 and 15). Choices are narrowed down to Bayfield or Door Co. We plan on camping, fish for trout or whatever, see the sights.
1badHO
Delavan, 40 mins. sw of Milwaukee. Ride out of Lake Tomahawk, St Germain area ALOT!

nancyboy, I would choose Bayfield County before Door County because Door County is expensive and pretty much a tourist trap. JMHO

Superior WI/Duluth MN, bring your fourwheelers.

We decided on Copper Falls St. Park. I want to do some trout fishing, kids want to ride bike and see the falls, wife wants to get away from work long enough that she sheds some stress. They are heading there on the 31st I think, and I will follow in a few days on my motorcycle if my newly repaird shoulder can stand the ride. This a nice choice?

HELL YEAH! You live DAMN close to my in-law's cabin. You take the first right after the bar on the south end of the rainbow flowage, and turn left on Bluegill Lake Road about 2 miles back, and you are at my in-law's cabin!

What a small world.
