i have a non apv 98 500 sled and wondered if it matters if you use a synthetic oil or not. if it does what kind do you suggest.

I use just regular cat oil in mine, 5000 trouble free miles so far, no need to put synthetic in non APV sled, most is more money anyhow.

yeah just use regular oil, no need for synthetic in non apv sleds.

The only thing that synthetic will do for you is cost more.
