I am looking for a can for my 2002 700. I don't want a loud one just a throaty one with some weight loss and some hp gain. Also I don't want to be rejetting or any of that bs - did enough of that with an old ultra of mine!!!
Thanks

mbrp makes a trail can and you dont need to do any clutching or jetting, its gives you more hp. www.mbrp.com, hope this helps :div20:

dont buy the can...get a clutch kit. If you have a clutch kit allready than maybe get a can but im sure there something else you can get that will actually do something.

the "thing" is the only can to claim real power gains and back it up! I had a SLP can on my xc-800.... I liked the deep tone and its wasnt any louder then stock. no performance gains...... save your money and put a full slp single pipe and can on a big block( 700 ,800) , the 600 is a waste of money to change the pipe !Clutching is the best money spent! if you do change the pipe slp's jetting on XC,prox is way out to lunch you will need to lean it out more then you would think...my moded prox 700 has 430 mains with a slp pipe! leaner then stock!
