I've made up my mind that I'm getting a '05 ZR 900 snow pro but I'm not sure about carbs or the efi system. I don't see myself riding anywhere but WI and the UP. I am more of a pull and go rider so I won't be hot rodding anything too much. Are there any downfalls to EFI besides not being able to adjust? I apreciate all the help you can give me.

go with EFI, we were up north last year and there were an equal number of efis to carbs, and it was -20 out that nite, we all put isopropyl in the tanks and we woke up to ride and all the efis started and 2 carbs didnt want to start, and it took the others more then 10 pulls to start...mine is a carb, but i chose graphics over efi, but if i had to do it again i would go with efi!

EFI all the way. Proven technology that pays for itself in better (and more consistant) performance and fuel economy day-to-day.
Spicers Boat City (spicersboatcity.com) in Houghton Lake, MI is the largest snowmobile dealer in Michigan. They had many left over ZR900's this past Spring.

As stated, easier starts, less throttle pull, consistant performance.
There are several fuel management systems available for the efi sleds
should you want/need to add/remove fuel. Granted, they cost a little more than a new set of jets....

I have a ZR800 carb and a ZL 580 EFI ERS and the EFI is the way to go. Works good lasts a long time.

Thanks everyone! I will go with the EFI. I was out to a few dealers today and I found a Snow Pro with Efi. Just have to negotiate the price.
