I don't know about anyone else but I would love to see a 1000cc twin in a F-chassis or a Crossfire chassis. Now that would be awsome. Wow1.gif
jet
Less weight, kick ass power, kick ass handling, kick ass graphics, kick ass warranty, kick ass price and I'm in!!!!!

I can't wait :div20:

My guess is they will keep the firecat name but it will be completely redisigned to outdo the old model.

I'm thinking the Firecat name is here to stay.

love the way your thinking jet  to bad you didnt work at AC
wolterf6
big 4 stroke thats what i want. :div20:
born to ride
It would be nice to see a 1000cc twin to compare with the MachZ. :div20:
clemons
I'd like to see an 900cc twin with around 170 horse, in a 04/05 snopro chassis weighing under 500 pounds wet. Its my dream.
SABERONE
Dealer told me a new 800 . He said they were dropping the 700 because they can not get it to meet emissions . When they did it only put out the power of there 600.So they are working on an 800 that meets emissions . Who knows. :frech32: :frech32:

Sno Pro Firecats go to 04/05 race chassis with 2 wheel rear axle and forward ergos. Standards remain on current chassis. New meaner graphics and a bigger motor.
Giddy-up
STORY HAS IT YOU WILL SEE BIG 4-STROKE, AND NEWSLED AT HAYDAYS. LATTER GIDDY-UP.

:augen41: got a questionier from cat this week. they seem to be up to something big. wanted to know if what engine size i would want in my next sled and 2 stroke. 4 stroke, carb or efi. something is going on at cat. looks like they are coming out with something NEW!!!!!!!!!!!!HAWK!!!!!!!!!
bluebear
I hope they move everything over to a Crossfire type chassis and make the sled back into a 121 x 15.
arctic-cat-kid
i like the 128 on the firecats but i aint too big of a fan on the 13.5 its not to bad for the trails but as soon as you get off if you aint spinning a big lug your fucked
Firecat400EX
im hoping sumthin sweet..... like a F8-F10? but im scared to buy an '06 this fall and they come out with somethin sweet or wait and have it be the same damn thing... dunno.gif
ScottyR
I bet you see a 128 x 15 F-Cat in the M-Chassis for 07. Cat likes the 128 length over the 121.
arctic-cat-kid
 great ideas

Cat would be shooting themselves in the foot if they intro'd a brand new sled at Haydays. How many spring order people do you thnk they'd p*ss off if they did that. A mid-season release ... that's something I could see. But nothing new (other than the SnoPro) at Haydays. IMO anyway.

maybe thats why cat didnt do anything special this spring.

THUNDERCAT!!

1100 or 1200 cc injected 4 stroke 4 cyl. in a 128" x 15" tracked Crossfire based chassis....I remember seeing Poo offering a 128" M-10 susp...so the track exists...

Look for some wild new fuel delivery systems...they should put the 2-stroke Cats right back in the hunt with HP and EPA certification.

The Turbo Cat may be offered in a 880 - 900 cc version.. 150 HP...

Look for standard reverse on about all Cats.

The Tcat will have the nifty heated seat and catcom, and remote start.....

Something to think about with the 4 strokes............

4 Strokes are like tampons..... Every pussy needs one........

Now before everyones gets in a tizzy. It's just a something I seen on a t-shirt....
strangeland2
id like a 4 stroke in the 130hp range in a crossfire a sled to compete with the mach z would be great but i d never buy it so i dont care if they come out with it the 660 does almost everything i need i d just like it to get to the top speed a little faster so thats why im hoping for the 130 hp range and i ve never ridden a xfire but i did sit on one when it first got to the dealer and loved it also i want to go with a 136" track
arctic-cat-kid
4 Strokes are like tampons..... Every pussy needs one hahah i want one of those shirts i wouldnt mind seeing cat with a big 4 stroke as long as it doesnt way a ton
ready2race
It most likely will way a ton, thats my biggest hang up about 4-stroke, yamahi seems to be getting them a little lighter, maybe a few years from now.
powder-rider
hope cat is not the next brand to swtch over to 4-stroks i still like the snap of the 2 stroks but i'm hopen for the firecat or something but maybe have it more like the rev make it carve the corners a little sharper but other than that i'm happy with what cat has got to offer

I like the two stroke also, but the four stroke does have real good points such as oil and gas savings, this is getting out of hand and the other thing is the engine should last 6 times longer, this rebuilding at low milage kinda sucks, so far I have been lucky, but my time will probably come. This is the longest I have had a sled in awhile, thinking maybe moving it next fall.
flasch7192
If BRP can get a 2-stroke to run clean im sure Cat can also its justa matter of time.

i sorta hope cat keeps working on both 4 strokes and 2 strokes i dont think i ll ever go for another 2 stroke but cats 4 stroke choice is alot like yamahas 2 stroke choice so im hoping cat gets about half the line up 2 stroke and half the line up 4 stroke and i consider the 660s as one choice it doesnt matter how many platforms they put the engine in they need atleast one larger 4 stroke engine at a reasonable price for me to consider it half and half
Nitrosleds
I hear bad things about the dimond drive but its new they need to figure out how to either stiffen up the belly pan to keep it from rubbing or go back to chain drive
besides what performance adjustments do you have with the dimond ?
how would you gear for top end or low end so on and so on ?

as for a 4 stroke I want to see the gsxr 1300cc motor in a sled
and yamaha has done a lot to bring the weight down in the newer rx1s not much over some of the bigger 2 stroke sleds

I would like to see a factory f10 that would be sweet also and if they cant make it for the market because of emisions make a mod motor and sell it aftermarket lol
who knows dirrect bolt in hehe

I would like to see them do somthing new with their skis maby make somthing more agressive somthing that will compete with c&a or usi
I would rather be able to buy a new sled and not want to buy new carbides
lol
the should also start instaling the bergstrom carbides so that you dont have to change them after your first season
Make things that will last longer and they will be suprized on how much more people will buy

here is the sad part if the sled companys made every thing that lasted for a long time with abuse they wouldnt sell as much they have us tricked into thinking that sleds and parts wear out fast so we accept it cause we like to ride its a addiction and most will spend the cash I know i do lol

I would also like to see a snow coach from arcit cat that would be cool
and make the arctic cat z120 look like a actual f series not a zr with the f decals that was a joke if you ask me
I wouldnt buy one of the f series for spite
I would however like to get the rev looking mini that one it pretty tight looking
but now am thinking more in the line of getting my daughter a quad that she can ride all year long and make a ski mounting kit for the front and slap a set of paddles on the rear I think that that would move pretty good lol
or how about giving a motor option for the z 120s for the kids that are a little older so they can follow trail with their parrents
but that will more than likley not happen as well because of liability
ready2race
I wished Cat would go back to chain, I don't see where DD is all it's cracked up to be. It was suposed to save weight and rotating mass more power with it. I haven't seen where it as good let alone better. More money for clutching and grearing. I'll take a chain any day.Even if Cat does improve next year with A bigger secondary, it will still cost more to play. :banghead: I guess I just don't like DD.
Krom
the rumor is big power for 07, both 2 stroke and 4 stroke to put cat back as king of the hp wars, I love the 13.5" track, its a lot of the reason the F sleds are such giant killers
fishhit
No matter which way AC goes in developement, 2 or 4 stroke, their primary goal has to be meeting emissions standards and boosting the fleet emission average. The easiest way to achieve fleet averages is to build a clean engine in a 900cc or greater displacement. The larger cc engines build emissions credits faster than smaller displacement sleds. This is why polaris had the 900 out before the 750. The sled maufactures have limited time now to meet 2010 emission standards and with the exception of Yamaha they are all behind the eight ball so to speak. Sikdoo has only one sled that currently meets 2010 standard and it's a dog. I'm not positive but I think AC has only the 660 that comes close. Expect to see a high displacement 4 stroke as thats the quickest and easiest solution to the emission problem. They will likely adapt an M chassis to fit it into. In closing look for a 2007 M1000.
snoprokidF6
i would like to see a factory f10 or f9, a crossfire with an 8,9,1000 factory motor, i would like to see all the sled in a f- chassis(even touring and the st turbo)
last i would like to see the f120 in a mini f-chassis
2000 ZR
when you mention the F mini chassis i can just picture it looking as bad as the mini Z when they tryed to shrink the rev down. looked like s***. but yeh that would be col to see happen.
