I have a 2004 Legend 550 Fan that was crashed in the right suspension. I fixed all the obvious damage but when I bolted the hood back on it doesn't close straight (off by about 2 inches). I know it’s the right suspension tower (the 1.5" square vertical tube that the bumper bracket and upper suspension bolts to) as the bumper is not square. For pictures of the original damage (most of which is fixed) see previous post

I plan on come-alonging that post but I don't know where on the sled is the best place to anchor the frame. I've seen pictures of a snowmobile frame straightener that clamps to the outside of the tunnel. I don't think I can just tie off on the rear bumper, right? The sleds all back together with the belly pan riveted back on and I don't relish having to take it back off again.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Steve

IS the frame damaged or the front bulkhead section?

The area below just needs to be pulled forward slightly.
