i plan on doing so dragging this winter and was wondering if i could take the limiter straps off so it hooks up better ive heard stories of guys doing it is it hard on the sled

i would not remove them! run them on the loosest position for max traction.

Makes it hard to trail drive, especially on turns, the front will come up to easily.

yeah i would put them on after the races i was just wonderinf if it would help me out at all and if it was hard on the sled

you can break stuff. if anything it will slow you down. hanging the skis 4 feet in the air looks cool, but wastes a lot of power. all that energy holding the front end up is energy wasted, not accelerating the sled. try to keep the skis just off the ground (2-3").

He's right , big air slows you down you want the skis just skimming over the snow, easier to controll, looks impressive but does nothing in the long run.
Drivers weight also plays a big part in how much transfer you want, and what setting your blocks are in.
