Yah, with the little snow we have been getting I added the set at the rear and a set of tip wheels. Really saves the hi-fax at the front and at the rear!

I know AC makes the kit that you have on the rear, but where did you get the front smaller wheels?.

I had a real problem with HI- Fax wear when I first got the sled, come to find out one strap was way tighter then the other. Went through 2 sets before 1000miles. Haven't gone through any in the last 4000 since I leveled it out. Those wheels should also help the track run free, seen the small wheels on drag sleds. Got me thinking about it now.

You know Ready2race, sometimes them straps move towards the center of the skid frame crossbrace that their attached to and shortens one side. I had this happen on my 2001 ZR800. So I installed a 2002 ZR800 EFI CC front arm shock saddle (1604-109 see pic) on the ZR and now on the ZRT. This will prevent them straps from moving around.

Yeah.. I should check it out, haven't looked at it for awhile since it hasn't given me any more trouble. The original problem was caused by poor dealer set up , out 1/2 inch on the threads from one side to the other. Your sled looks really good.

Hey Auggie, sled looks awesome!
What are you trying to achieve with this engine mount doo-dad?

Well, when I run my engine on the stand I noticed that when I cracked the throttle wide open the engine would move back then up. When the engine moves back it comes in contact with the rubber bumper which stops the rearwerd movement but then the engine moves up. For some reason this is hard on the R/R engine mounting bracket (0708-064). There are probely a lot of T-Cats and ZRT out there with broken brackets. This part will stop the upward motion and keep the center to center dist between the cl's from changing. Anyhow it works for me.

Nope, that is the only one that I got and my sled is in storage. If you remind me at the end of Oct. I could shoot a close-up or get you some measurements.

Your right, there is nothing like them ZRT's but mine doesn't have an 1108 under the hood. Do you have any pics of the engine and your hood looks just like mine. Your front end looks a lot lower then mine??

Hey Auggie, long time no talk!! Sled's looking great. Do you still have the ZR? Don't plan on doing much to my ZR this year, it's running pretty sweet as-is. But I do plan on removing all the 2-up gear off the '01 Triple Touring and turning it into a solo 136" triple cruiser by installing a 1-up seat.
Have you been racing the Z much this summer?
Jim
PS, are you going to Haydays this year? Maybe we could meet up.

[SIZE=7] :augen41: My 2000 ZRT 800 has only 239 miles on the speedo. It sits while I ride the F7. It did not get much use for a few years. I can set it up for ice drags or trail riding. (two tracks one rubber and one with studs). Gonna get her out this year weather permitting. :div20: a pic of my 96 zrt 800 and my 98 t-cat also and the 2000 zrt on the bottom.

Jim, the ZR is gone and I bought the ZRT with 1949 miles on the speedo. I have always wanted a triple for trail riding. I have had triples but they were always for racing and were free. I haven't raced the Z28 for awaile now and when I put it away for the winter it was running like sh*t. I thought that the rest would do it wonders but alas when I took it out of storage it still ran like sh*t. So last week I went after it and found that the pin that holds the fuel pump (mech.) arm had fallen out which just about put the pump out of order. When I punched it hard it would backfire and just about blow the air cleaner off. Real lean. Runs great now. I only went to Haydays once and that was enough. Too hot (i like the cold and lots of snow) to much dust and no parking. I wrenched for a .x team this winter (Tom Rambow #711) and we did pretty well. They raced some Nat. events and WSA MN North. He won the 16-17 class was second in the Sports Stock, won the Sports Performance class and was second in the Sports Open (800) class. He won the overall points in the Sports classes and won the overall points WSA MN North. Not a bad year but man that was a lot of work.

I hear ya Auggie...I think each of the last 3 seasons I've found a nice Tcat or Zert8, but just couldn't bring myself to get rid of the ZR to get one of them. I guess I wanted to have the best of both worlds and not give up either one. Plus I don't really have room for 4 sleds. So I just figured I would convert the Triple Touring into a solo 136" triple cruiser. It's not one of the big blocks, but still provides that sweet triple sound and smoothness. Plus, it still has less than 600 miles on it and it's an '01.
