Im so excited, I just had to let you all know that I got my new bow all ordered up last night grinning-smiley-023.gif Me and 2 other guys went together and got a pretty good deal. I have been shooting my previous bow for 8 years, so it was definetly time for an upgrade. I shot alot of bows in the past year, but when I shot the switchback there was no turning back! They were all out and had to order some, but I should have it this weekend, I can't wait! grinning-smiley-023.gif Bowhunting is the greatest sport!

How much did you pay, I'm looking for a new bow, I think the switchback is at the top of my list.

TOO MUCH! lol, no, there's no such thing as too much when your talking hunting.

It depends where you live some southern states are selling switchbacks in the mid 600's , but around here the cheapest list price you can find is $740. There was 3 of us so we got a pretty decent deal, $680 for the bows, and %10 off accessories. I didn't need new arrows so my package ended up coming to $875. My buddies had to get arrows with their packages so they spent about $1050.

The Mathew's are great bows, but you pay for it!

THere are so many great bows out there right now in any price range, you almost can't go wrong with anything.

I was always really interested in Renegades, but for whatever reason didn't follow up on it. They are unbelievably light! The one I sho was completely bare, and vibrated a little more than other bows, but Im sure with some dampners on it is would be great.

Good luck with it. Mathews are nice bows and real smooth too. I have a LX from last year.

I was four for four last season with the LX with zero practice shots. Pretty scary! :beerchug:
