vintage sled nut

At a vintage snowmobile show and swap a week ago, I bought a new set of V-force Delta 2 reeds for $90.00. They were in an open box, but everything else was sealed and obviously un-touched. I figure the OEM reeds must be about due a change in my ZR600 EFI...after over 6500 miles. You think? The deal was too good to pass up.
I know the V-3s replced them. I was curious as to what kind of performance improvements to expect. I assume new OE reeds would improve performance over my old ones, though. Are there any tuning issues or anything else I should be aware of after installing them? I appreciate any knowledge that you may have to share on the V-Forces.
I just love swap meets! There is another one in Greenville,MI next weekend, and one near Midland in early August. They help take the "edge" off summer, and give me a sled fix to get me by until the weather turns cold again.

Les,
The Delta II's are still great reeds. I have 4,000 miles on mine in a ZL600 but plan to replace the petals this summer for good measure. They perform better in throttle response and mid-range over stock. You'll really notice the difference out of the corners. No engine tuning is necessary. You can adjust clutching to take advantage of the few extra ponnies at low-mid rpm but the stock clutching still works well.
