I was waundering how many trail picks I should get for my sled. Should I get 144 or just 96. What patterns do you guys think are the best. I was thinking about 4 wide down the middle with 1 wide on the outside. I don't know if they would fit like that though. Or even the down the middle diamond shape.

96 is all you need for that sled, to many will slow you down on top end. Down the middle with that amount, as close to the slide rail as you can get.
Arrow head pattern works well with 96.

I got 96 woody's mega bites and they hook up awesome. I can pick the skis up on bare ice. I got a v pattern down the middle. That is all you need.

I have 172 on my '99. Former grass drag sled. Way to many for trail riding. Adds a lot of weight, but it hooks up. I am afraid of taking any out...will it hurt??
