I need some help about pistons. I have a Polaris Prox 440 LC year 2002.
So, i bought some pistons from america (i'm from europe Slovenia) and i'm
not sure if they are right for my engine.

Here i have some specifications from the label.

WISECO - performance pistons

2401M06600
POLARIS XCR 440 98-99
2598CD - 66.00mm
03053BA/360 CW20/S423
Clearence: .0040 in. (.102mm)
REPLACES 2401PS

Are those pistons ok, are they really performance?

By the way => i have cylinders honed (superfinish) on 66.00 mm

Doubtful they are the right kind.

Proper pistons for a stock bore 02 440 liquid are not in my chart here in my Dennis Kirk catalog. I would just go OEM honestly. The polaris (elko) pistons are pretty good.

The 02 440 LC has a bore x stroke of 66x64 but that doesn't mean those pistons have the proper cutouts and skirt shape, depth, etc.

Wiesco does make pistons for that sled, I put them in my '04 when I rebuilt. However I believe the '02 engine is different from the '98-99 engine so I don't think they will work.

I found on the internet the specification page of wiseco pistons and it's said that the only difference is in the gasket.

In this document you'll see on the bottom of the page this information
about xcr and prox piston. I don't know - the bore is the same, and nikasil too,
the price and even Piston Kit serial number is the same.....

By the way : The pistons look like my old ones

umm. That PDF you linked says the 440 prox LC 01-04 takes wiseco # 2443M06600

It does not appear to be the correct pistons.

read the note on the pistons you bought. "will not fit XCR EDGE motor" They are talking about the race 440 that was in the precurser edge chassis in 99 and 2000 i'm sure.
