Looking to replace my '95 Sea-doo HX (too many mechanical problems caused in most part from the privoius owner I'm guessing). Am interested in a '96 sea-doo XP. small boat with 110HP. Are there any other models from different manufatures that I should look at that would be similar in size to the HX or 96 XP. The suff there building now a days seems so big. If I want a boat I'll buy a boat, but I want a "personal" watercraft.

the 800 older xp's are about as small and quick as you can get !!!!!

yamaha still makes the original stand up type jet ski in one model, i saw it at the boat show this year. I agree the new ones are so big you cant throw em around, but this one seemed nice, i think it was around 4500-5000 new.

I own 2 tigersharks 99 1100R and 97 Daytona 770. Most people think I have a modified 770 because it beats the 96 XP- and97 SPX . the only mod's are air filters and nu-jet impeller (stock replacement) runs great and looks nice too. the 1100 goes about 63 to 64 mph slightly modified. the 770 about 57 mph. We like them alot. P.S. Honda bought the hulls from AC
