Just got the tracks usa package deal for $489. Any tricks to instalation and how do you like and how has track/extensions held up.

the extensions are nicely made, though i had to grind on them just a little bit to get them in nicely... had to round off the corners a bit... just take your time and do it slowly... it's not hard, just time consuming... my first suggestion would be to do the track and skid first, then do the tunnel

I've done a couple with the TracksUsa extensions. There's a raised section on the extension that fits into the window on the rails that used to be occupied by the rear axle. It's a pretty snug fit as I'm sure they are picking up a bunch of strength/rigidity with the close tolerances there. I've had to get a file out and dress the ID of that window on every install so far. Not a big deal, but probably the only thing that requires much in the way of patience. The rest of it just bolts together.

I've never heard or seen a complaint, of any kind, regarding ANY issues using those extensions.

Yup, had to do a little bit of grinding in the back of the rails to make the extensions fit but they are worth it. Definitely would buy their kit again.
