Before I rejet .the carbs are dirty can I spray all over the carbs and clean and spray away. Will the carb cleaner hurt the carbs. Antbody know.

i like to use kerosene, it is way easier on the carbs, and it wont evaporate and haze the aluminum.. just my way to do things......

I use carb cleaner every fall , but NEVER when the carbs are on the sled and never while the engines running! Some carbs have anti stick coatings on them you shouldnt use it on then at all..... My honda cbr has a coating on the injection system , the TM38 and TM40s dont have any coatings..... Go for it!

:banana: Hey thanks guys carbs all cleaned up and ready for the rejet going to pull the motor monday and change out the motor mount. I am learning as I go!

When u put ur motor back in and have it aligned do yourself a favor and get the SLP torque strap to keep the clutches lined up under load and no more blown motor mounts.
