Now that I got my motor out so I can do the motor mount how do I change out the jets to 440s any special tools can someone explain to me thanks guys.

take your carbs tilt them upside down remove the 2 small phillips screws from the bowl and then remove the relief tube and off comes the bowl and then change them jets, or you can just remove the relief tube by itself and change the jets but i like to give the whole carb a look thourgh and inspection

not being smart or anything but if you don't know how, leave them alone. You should know that carb better before messing w/ this. ie through cleaning etc. get a book and learn it all. don't just change them cause someone on here did. you might be in a complete diff location or something

u dont need to take the float bowl off. just take the plug out of the bottom of the float bowl and use a jet wrench to take jets out.

a nutdriver and a 1/4" drive 6mm socket works perfect if you already have a socket set, instead of buying more tools. And since you wanna do this DO NOT BUY anything but mikuni brand jets. ive seen more than once with say kimpex where you can slide a number drill bit through one jet say 440 of mikuni but not through the kimpex 440. machining tolerances or something
