This past winter I purchased an EPI (purple 160-260) sec. spring. I was wondering where I could purchase a 160-260 CCW wound spring?

The closest Team spring is a 155/222 red/black.Why do u want such a heavy spring?

Brock, I thought that last year when I was asking what set-up would work good for my Prox7 you gave me a a set-up like yellow primary, orange(140-240) or purple(160-260) sec. with 68 or 70g Dalton or EPI Bellie busters. With the present set-up that I have, I am a little short on top rpm's. Yellow Pri, purple sec with 70g. bellie busters. I was goung to try 68g weights to raise my rpm's. Currently at about 7750-7800 calibrated rpm's. Any help would be greatful. Thanks.

With that set-up I gave u,u should easily be reving 8000 RPM with a calibrated tach.I had 74 gram weights in my 700 and would pull the RPM's up to 7950 easily and quickly.Sounds to me that ur jetted to rich and the DET. isn't going to let u jet down more than 2 sizes on ur main jets because it will go into stutter mode.If ur jetted to fat ur RPM's won't pick-up as easily and won't let ur clutching get the proper RPM"s.What r u running for main jets?If u want to have the proper ccw secondary spring go with a Team red/black(140/240),the aftermarket guys still don't have theirs wound the proper way yet,but they will this winter. The Team red/black secondary spring will difinetly help because it's ccw.If u have any more questions just ask.

Oh and by the way the 700 mill makes it's most HP and torque at 7800 RPM's,but u need to get it to 7950 RPM's for fast trail set-up. :div20:

I'm jetted with 420's and also am running a Tempa-flow. Do you think that the purple (160-260) is too stiff a spring? I marked my primary and seem to be getting full shift out. Would you also recommend that I try 68g weights instead of the 70g which I am presently running?

Be careful using the tempa-flow with the DET system.Polaris has the DET set-up so u can only go down about 2 sizes on the mains before it goes into stutter mode for warranty purposes and even then the engine is running to rich.Eliminate the DET but then ur warrany is void, but getting ur jetting right on were the plug reading and the piston wash is perfect will definetly get ur RPM's up.Try the proper ccw spring which is a Team red/black(140/240) with ur current set-up and if it doesn't rev up to 8000 RPM than change something else(68 gram weights).
