Do the search that snowman suggests, and make sure you read about the positives and the negatives of using a twist throttle.

Most of the posts I have seen are from guys who are disappointed with the results of installing a twist throttle. On a motorcycle, you use your body to corner. On a snowmobile, most of your cornering is a result of your turning the handlebars. Hold your right hand out in front of you, twist it like you were twisting an imaginary throttle, and now try to turn the bars to the right while your wrist is twisted... It's nearly impossible to do-----which is why most guys put their thumb throttles back on.

Good luck either way.

When you have to stand on the left side and throw the machine over, you will really wish you didn't have a twist throttle.

don't put one on... it would only make riding more difficult

i agree with what is said above

a twist throttle would make it not nice ride just my 2 cents

I did it several years ago and it worked pretty good until I hit a badly moguled out stretch of trail and the mogul action made you twist in spurts. :augen41: I converted back b ecause I didn't think it was safe. :banghead:
