I have a few questions for those that live around Thief River Falls.. Anybody on here work at Arctic Cat? What is it like working there? How do they treat their employees?

What is the country like out there? I see that some houses out there seem to be cheap so I was also wondering what daily items such as a gallon of milk or gas goes for?

How is the job market out there?

TRF is pretty much the end of the world. The good news is you can stand on a beer can and see Grand Forks. :smilielol:

Seriously, anywhere in MN is better than the east coast. :beerchug:

I have been reading the 1st and 3rd link you provided but the 2nd one is new - thanks!
So why do you say TRF is the end of the world?

If you like flat and windy then west central Minnesota is right for you! lol

My parents know quite a few people working for Cat and I haven't heard any negative things.

Not a whole lot to do in TRF. Grand Forks is fairly close and Fargo is about an hour south of GF, plenty to do there.

But yeah, flat, very very flat. And cold, can't forget the cold. Windy too. Flat, cold, windy. That more or less sums it up.
