As I have the engine ready to be lifted up and then take of my busted motor mount I was thinking of trying these filters since I took off the airbox. This would be cool to leave the airbox out and go with the K and N filtewrs. Anybody use them and what would jettting be like. My sled has stock jets 450 to fat .I allready have the airbox gutted with the slp and the holes in my dash for more air.

We use them for grass dragging and ice dragging,they aren't made for every day trail riding but you can use them.They will get clogged with snow and freeze up if you do drift riding or your in powder snow.There made for drag racing.I have the same sled as you(Pro XR 800) and I have the SLP big mouth air kit, filters in the dash with the gutted airbox.With that SLP kit you have,your not going to gain anything with the K&N's,what you have right now is really good. :div20:
