I've only got a few so far this year.Like everyone else hard to get this year plus havent been out looking as much as i'd like to be.Weather is looking kinda crappy here right now so maybe later today!!!!!Good luck fellers.

What kind of habitat are you finding those in? I am planning of going out today, but it may be a little early this far north.

Around elms and poplar are where i find most of mine, but them little suckers will pop up in the dumbest places sometimes. Check out www.thegreatmorel.com for some info to get you started.

my inlaws are the hunters, but i go once in awhile, like them sauted with a nice juicy steak.

I've never hunted for morels but I live in the woods that has a lot Elms, Maples, Ash, and Oaks 40 miles SW of Chicago, do you think there would still be some morels out there?
