thanks guys! man these fish are fun to catch. only takes a few minutes to get em in, unless you hook a real big one i imagine. Too bad the season lasts only a handful of weeks. Four of us went out, and we had a tough time getting bait. Finally had to head to a fishing spot with just 5 herring. So we set out 2 poles at first, 1 mine, and right away my buddy gets a run. So he fights him for a cpl mins, and loses him. DAMN i hate that. 5 mins later my bail starts screaming, and after a few minutes of him jerking my arm off. ohhh btw, got a big old knot in my line as i started reeling him in, thought i was gonna lose him. But anyway, landed him, and just jigged for more bait, so everyone else had a chance to hook 1. We did land 1 more a few inches smaller, my buddy hooked it, and let his son reel her in for his first striper. Just the sound of that bail running wild is enough to give any fisherman a woody! I recommend if you have the chance, do it. :div20: btw Vince, was 20 lb test line.
