Did the 800cc just come in a "x" package?
No, you can get the 800 in an "X", "adrenaline" and "sport pkg".
Did they all come with HPG's?
The X came with HPS with remote resivors, The Adrenaline and Standard came with HPG's.
As you said the "X" had the remote. The "Adrenaline" had the adjustment by spinning the spring and wasn't the "Sport" just the clicker style? But yes, HPG's.
If you go to www.ski-doo.com and click on either usa or canada, then cursor over to sleds, you can compare the 2001 mxz to all the models that were available for that year.
yeah i made that mistake when i got mine thinkign it would be an X. Ski-doos site doesn;'t acknowledge the 2001 mxz 800 adren. and std.
great sled none the less love it. gettign an RKT head for it. THey suck the gas way too fast for my liking.

I have a standard and it has the HPG's with the spinner style adjustment, very good shocks for a base sled.
