don't know what to say, all files have extensions (the letters after the dot .xxx )
What OS are you using? XP? When you right click and choose properties what does it show the filename as? Freggin Microsoft... :banghead:

Video Clip,This was copied off the file type.
On the summary page it has vedio compression LEAD-MJPEG.
How can I convert it?Did a search earler seen a topic on posting vids that had a link but cant find it again. Its not to old eather(thread).
I just finished my pittsburg video and my eyes can barley focus on this page. It's seven minutes and probably 30-40 megs as a meduim wmv - I can't upload anything that size to my ripway space, let alone host it and link it to a site this busy.
Rob, can I store it on the HCS video space? It's my best one yet, thanks.

really big!

a .wcp file looks like a WinDVD application?
Bit I added .avi as a attachment type.. try it now.

Understood - I'll find a host and drop a link here. I'll keep this in mind for shorter ones. Thanks!
AVI is usually the raw format that comes straight off the camcorder, and it's usually a huge high-quality file. Any video software will convert that to mpeg or the even smaller wmv; a stock program like xp windows movie maker might even do it.
Editing video can definitely be a headache - especially trying to figure out how to make all the different parts work - but it's a titter compared to trying to post through an old POS virus-infected PC while your main one is burning discs LOL  AARRRGGGHHH

Just tried again no go
QUOTE(xcbullet @ May 8 2005, 07:07 PM)
then it's not a .avi file.
Go back and read your camera documentation and try to figure out what is up. It is probably some kind of special format that needs conversion to be shared on the net.
