I got a 99 MXZ 600 that is basically stock except for V-force 3 reeds, a MBRP race can and a heavy spring (engages @ 5400) and want to know if putting in a thicker base gasket and decking the head is worth while. Want a bit more snap out of my sled

My friend has the same sled, and before he put a clutch kit in his sled, my f5 would pull his sled by about 1-2 lengths and ever sence he put that kit in his sled pulls my f5 by about 2-3 lengths on bottom end and we are pretty close on the top end.
