I have an 02 440x converted to 800 so similar but since mine is the true sno-cross chassis its prob a little stiffer.
Let me tell you. Aside from an X model Rev I've never ridden a sled that takes the bumps and jumps like this thing. I removed the sno-cross springs and repalced them with renegade springs cause it was TOO STIFF. I left the sno-cross valving which is prob a little stiffer than stock X valving. With this combo the ride was stiff but still had some cush to it and made this thing a trail/ditch monster. It took a while to get the handling dialed but once done she rides nice and flat.
As far as power goes it hangs with all the 800s until top end. At top end the 800 HOs will pull away. I spent some time last season dialing the clutches and was getting real close when we ran out of snow but I don't think these sleds will ever have the top end of the current 800HOs or the F7s. I was getting about 105 MPH.
All round fantastic sled unless wind protection is important.

I have an 02 mxz 800x and it is a very nice sled I weigh about 180 and I have the suspension on the lowest. and I have even rode w/ a rider on the back so that would be close to 270 and I didn't have any trouble and I was hitting jumps w/ her on the back all day! but I would bump it to at least the 2nd highest setting! Other than that... great sled lots of low end power... not as much on top

I can beat my bros 900 zr to 90 and my dads F7 to about 70 after that they keep gaining sleds on me... but out of the whole i can kick there ass. I have also raced a few other sleds with studs and taken them out of the whole because the 1.25" track really grips w/o studds!

I have a '01 800 ZX-X. Snow checked it. Box stock it was a pig.(105) Installed a RKT head and a few other goodies and it DID run real well.(115) In March it blew up big time. All my fault, guess I had it tweaked just a little too much.

Now rebuilding it and will probably run it again this year...

I have a 2002 MXZX800. I weight 340, I had the shocks rebuilt and shimmed for my size and I added 440X Sno crosser springs. That was the trick, its so aweosme now, It nearly NEVER bottums and I can ride right with all my 2-250 lbs buddies on Pol and Cats in 8-900cc. As for power, I added a few tweaks nuthin magor, check my sig at bottum. It will run 110 on hard pack or lake and 105 on rail grades, can't complain about that, remeber I am 340lbs.

The only thing I'd question is the $3400, with 4100 miles on that seems a bit high, If you can get it for $3000 or less then jump on it.

Just my 2 cents..........mps :div20:

Yea that sleds a rip off, its like an adrenaline and its been sitting outside for 2 years in front of Leitz all winter and summer. They will not talk down Leitz are the biggest dick heads in michigan dont buy nothing for them. They are known to role back spedometers too.
