The watercross season is here, and Im up to setup my sled.
Im tired to wrench the two brass bolts on my xc600-01 engine to let water out.
Is there an easier way to do this? how do you pro´s do?
Swedish regards

Yes, those plugs are so tight on the 600cc engine. It´s difficult to find a tool to get it more easy. I´m tinking of getting a shut off valve. But I dont know were to buy it and how to install it.
Any suggestions?

I just pull the spark plugs out and pipe off and pull the motor over a few times. Too much of a hassle to deal with those other plugs.

In the eastern USA we drill out the 3/16 npt hole to 1/8npt and use fuel shut off valves. It's pretty easy. I can send you photos and a kit if you like. I personally have perfected a drain system so that tools are completely unecessary when draining a sled.
