I'm heading to get a new camera tomorrow and wanted to know what you guys think about the new ones. I want something that I can take with me sledding and whatnot. The one I have now won't ever take a pic when out riding because it gets to cold and the battery doesn’t work. Thanks for the input!

My buddy has a little canon. Loves it and always works. Just my opinion. I have a HP and it's to big for the sled. I'd buy the Canon to. Hope this helps you. around 200 bucks.

Canon's are some of the highest rated Digicams on the market. Go with quality and you won't be dissapointed. I have nothing but great things to say about mine.

I've been looking at the Kodak
c300 but it won't be out until May. It's tough to find a camera over three megapixels for $100.

If concerned about cold weather operation, pick a camera that uses regular AA-style batteries, and buy a set of Ni-MH rechargables from Thomas Distributing. This works MUCH better in exteme cold, and is more important that the brand. :div20: Talking from experience here :beerchug:

From what I have seen, and used, the Kodaks are very poor quality.

hey Rob, that's where I got my Maha powerex batteries for my Canon A40, they last much longer. The think I don't like about the Sony is the memory stick, the CF cards are cheaper. Sony makes good stuff but I like Canon better.
