I just bought a 2003 Pro X 800 on saturday, the speedo didnt work, so the dealership i bought it from put a new keyway in it, It work for about 65 miles then stopped again, i too, it back and it turns out the speedo bearing was done for. He replaced the speedo bearing and the chain case bearing, put a new keyway in it checked the cable and all, still doesnt work, and help would be appreciated. thanx

check to see if the keyway is slipping in the silver metal bushing on the end of the driveshaft.
