OK. guess i need to change top sprocket to 24. swapped in the 64 gram weights. almond blue prim spring and red/bue secondary(lighter). sees SOP dyno the pull is greater. feels like accelerating faster. however the primary appears to be 3/4 inch short of full shiftout. i was hesitant to swap gears as i wanted more top end but it appears that is gonna be necessary. with the shiftout will come more top speed. tach shows 7800-7900 in soft snow. stock helix.

In your case you might gain some top end by changing your gearing to get full shiftout. Your probably not going to loose any. Just have to try some different gearing combo's and see what works the best. I like 24/42 myself.
