Looking for what others have found that worked well in the areas of jetting, clutching, & gearing.

my 2003 700 with slp single, I know its not a 800....
440 mains gutted air box needle set stock near sealevel with a tempaflow. EGT MAX of 1100*F
vf3
rkt head
24/41 gearing
140/330 RCS Ti primary spring 10-66
red/blue secondary with 70-44.46

runs 8050~8100 on snow , I am guessing it would over rev on ice.

the slp needs to be hot before you notice any power added, if you run there jetting you will loose about 10 hp from a stock pipe.

xc-mark, do you have flow rites to go with the gutted box, and did you have any port work done? Jay. Just trying to get a direction I want to go in this off season. Can't afford a new one for at least a year.

No port work, or flow rights.... I do have a slp box kit , pre filters in the dash.. the power comes on like a light switch if you whack it! the SLP pipe puts a good hit in the midrange and the head helps out there also. I dont think there is huge gains with single pipes but it is noticeable.
