xc-mark

I just want to change color could i get a differnt ski from polaris that would fit with stock mount
bonz50
for the cost of getting new oem skis why not get some better ones???

to answer your question, yes you can... but why would you want to go thru the hassle and get no improvements???
mganley
how much are we talking to get everything i would need
bonz50
depends on the ski, you can get powder pros for 300 bucks including carbides... the replacement oem skis go for 130 per, so for an extra 40 bucks you get one of the best skis on the market...

I paid 310 for my SLT's, often cheaper to buy thru a discount dealer than directly from SLP.

289.00 with carbides, if you have studs add 25.00 for longer carbides! You will not fine a ski that handles better then this in all conditions, period! there may be a better ski for one condition but these just work like no other ski I have used. Deep snow, mush, ice, corn, hard pack its all going to work good , ever get a ski off trail in the fluff? normaly it just pulls you off the trail right? not with these, it just jumps on top and holds steady!

Tried my buddies 03 pro-x 800 136x1.5" with powder pros in some loose snow , steering felt very positive and predictable.

Got my SLT's from www.outdoorsupplyonline.com , Jeff Schwartz

For the love of GOD dont get different colored polaris skis. On my wife's old XCR, we replaced some old OLD USI's with some '04 blue composite polaris skis...$350 we had a better look but the skis still sucked. Now on her SKS we got a set of new SLP Tri-Keel II's (freeking great skis, a bit tough to steer but helps with the push of her 136") for $100 off of eBay and I have some C&A Pro skis that I got at Haydays for $100. We sold our old polaris composites on ebay for about $150 a pair.
