Was reading the new model list, and it said the crossfire's were coupled. Was thinking that the mid season releases were not. Any one know which is right, and were the mid season ones lifting the ski's bad and in need of it? dunno.gif
OLDIE 55
The Crossfire mid season I looked at had no blocks
NightFireSnowPro
Oldie, that's what I saw too but there are holes drilled the skid to easily install blocks.
snowstud
Yes, the one i rode carried the skiis high, and for a while. Even when pinning it while doing about 50-60 mph it would lift them right up.
DamageInc
Snowtech reported that they rode theirs with and without rear couplers, but they didn't say if they came from Cat or if they added them on their own.
Bruley
Mine came factory with the blocks.
I found the sled was more enjoyable with the blocks removed. I also have a set of powder pro skies installed and found the sled still outhandles ever sled in my riding group
Stoney
The blocks out are much better, you just need to learn when to and not too use the throttle while turning.

we'll see if you still get the same kind of weight transfer out of the float skid as a conventional torsion skid. I am thinking not as much and thats why they are only listed as an option. From the M guys, i think relocation of the rear was needed to get the transfer they were looking for. Time will tell though
