Just put motor mounts in last night and thought it made some impressive improvment in throttle responce and consistant rpms. Today went ridinig with a bud that has 03f7 clutched and we would run side by side to 75-80mph and I would start pulling away.
Then after about 100miles smoked mag side for the 2nd time this year, these things must have a lean spot in the mapping, told my dealer to push for a short block.

I don't think it's mapping. I think it's belt dust and snow dust. Mine blew up also last month and the pistons were severely scuffed and finally broke the skirt. I pushed and got the new short block.

You guys have stock pipe & can or do you have a SLP can on it. My dealer says POO is trying to blame my Mag piston on the SLP can running leaner. He said POO wants to re-map as is I had a pipe! I told him B S.
ProPolaris
I've heard the SLP pipe map works pretty good with stock motors.

Mine is completly stock ,and yes your dealer is full of shit ,my dealer is very unhappy with how these fusions have shook out this year and has not made one exuse for these sleds, and that how all the dealers should be instead of always blowing smoke up their customers ass and hope polaris does somthing while they hide from their customers in their office, sorry been there did that!!!!!!!
just-pinch-it
Polaris has coverd others with the SLP pipe & re-flash. It's not a lean condition. The piston is being pinched in the cylinder. Push dealer hard or contact Polaris directly. The problem is occuring whether you have the mod or not.

Everything internal new including cylinder head........ less all the external parts.
Repair of engine failure would have to surpass cost of replacement shortblock from what I seen.
