I've put about 2300 miles on so far this winter. I've had more than my share of problems with my Fusion but I still love the chassis. It is by far the best cornering sled I've owned and I've owned a lot them. If you buy an 05 you need to change the skiis as it won't turn with the stock ones. I put on C&A Pros with Shaper bars. Also stud down the middle only, as the track hooks so well it tries to push, I tried both setups. It won't hook as well on ice but as far as cornering it works the best. After some of the problems I had I thought about trading off the sled earlier in the year but there's nothing out there that is better. They're all good but all the sled models now handle pretty well and you're not going to gain huge performance by jumping ship. Like I did in '02 when I traded off my new Viper after 2 weeks because it rode THAT bad.

I love the suspension, handling, and ride of my fusion. I have endured 3 spinal surgeries from various injuries in the past so suspension performance is tops for me!
Once in a while when i get tired from leading the pack I will ride in the middle and I see these other guys getting all tossed around on the trail and I wonder why I don't feel these bumps that are throwing them all over the place.

Then I switched sleds with a friend for 1 mile, i was so sore from one mile of riding that I needed to reach for the pain meds. He didn't want to get off my sled. But he also said he would not buy a fusion because, I quote: " the torque in this thing is down right scary!"

The ripsaw track is awesome too, the crap that I used to have to dig out of on my last sled is childs play now. Even when I thought i was stuck i wasn't on this thing

I used to pick every sled for traction, this one is not picked, it does not need it unless you run on almost straight ice.

The new ride height of this sled is a little odd at first, I fell off twice my first day on it. You really don't need to hang-off in the corners on a fusion, Just ride it like a big street bike, and get a set of hooks on the bars, you'll need them.

M-10 is an excellent suspension, but it would be overkill on a fusion, I also hear they lower MPG and are higher drag than stock. It might be a waste of money to get one on a fusion.

And how!!! I rode one a few weeks ago, I really am amazed it is so horribly bad. It had the worst suspension I have ever been on. Unfortunate, fast, good looking, good cornering sled, but ungodly awful in the bumps.

Here is my review of my ride on a 2005 Fusion Anniversary Edition:

I did some real aggresive riding with some friends this past weekend, I got to say she handled very good. I replaced my dual carbides with a single 8", this made a big difference.
My friends were on F7's, 1 was a 05 the other an 04 they thought they were going to pull me, not a chance. We swapped places several times. Did I mention that I'm acouple of years older and 25lbs heavier then these guys, we're all in our 30's, me being in my late 30's (very late) Ha! Ha!.
The only complaint I have is that the front end of the Fusion is a little heavy, this will change next year when I replace the pipe & silencer, this should help.
Overall the Fusion when set up properly will handle great you just need to spend some time to set it up. I also think the Ryde Fx shocks need some revalving I'm just not convinced they are as good as the Fox Shocks.
