Hi there, im new to the forum and it looks like you guys have lots of answers so I'll see if you have the one im looking for. My 89 Phazer had a bunch of bent up suspension parts when i got itlast year and i cut them all out and replaced them and now its bending them again. The part that is starting to bend now is the froont cross bar that has wheels on the outside of the rails and the front springs and shock mounted inside the rails. i suspect the shock isbottoming out and bending the bar but thats just one problem. when i got it the front springs didn't fit right, they are too short on back side so they dont stay on their guides, so i bought new ones but they are the same, and yesterday i discovered they had swaped ends (and somehow didn't put a big gash in my track, got lucky there.) i extended them with a piece of hardened old fuel line but i dont trust my suspension. what should i do about this? :help:

I would assume that you either have the incorrect springs or incorrect swing arm...
What do you mean you cut all the bent pieces out? Make sure you have the correct cross shaft, or it will bend. Can you post a pic of what it looks like?

I can get some pics but for now i just have a temp extension on them. that rear end has alot of worn holes on the rails were bolts got loose and nobody tightend them. so it makes lots of freaky noises like somethings rubbin the track and then i look really hard at it and i cant figure out what it is. i replaced the clutch side axle bearing and the chaincase bearings are fine, it only really makes noise at extreme low speed. iii dunno. im thinkin hard about selling it and findin a long track one but im also curious about other suspensions i can stuff in it. if anybody has put other suspensions in a phazer please tell me about it.
