Just got mine back this morning, after the new motor they change all the motor mounts and the new torque stop.
I don't care what everyone is saying but it was like night and day. My sled didn't vibrate bad before but it is nonexsitent now

I've been running that kit for the last 2400 miles.I haven't been able to open it up yet just drove it around the yard yesterday. I'll report my findings when I get back from up north.

Did they only change 1 mount or all 4, along with the new torque stop?

The kit is only the left rear and a new torque stop.

Just an observation, as I am interested in the Fusion. Besides the one motor mount and the torque stop, I have noticed a washer mentioned in some posts. I have seen small things like that get missed or not put in- a heads up.

well i put almost 40 mi on it andseems pretty good but hard to tell with wet loose snoww we got. seems to accelerate really hard. cant really tell about top end yet because condition for top end running is not that great. my rpms befor new mounts was73-7400 with old belt. now with new belt and mounts it runs right at7250-7300 just were my erlandson kit is supposed to run. that what i observed so far.

Are you happy with the new motor, did they do a good job?/ I talked to my dealer today, and he showed me one of updated kits, not like the one they installed into mine,i guess it was just to see if it would help, the dealer knew it was not what poo would be sending out in kit form, but guess he thought it would be better than not doing anything, and i have to agree,so monday they fit the new mount, and hopefully find my wireing problem to my power valves, and get them working up to snuff, heck maybe after all these things i will like it like i once did, have a good trip and we will talk when you get back, later. Went out today after updates and the sled is definitely more consistent and pulls real hard. Top end is a little better and vibration is acceptable. Still getting some belt slip though. Overall the sled is better but I think after a few hundred miles I'll be back in the same boat. Gas mileage is still pure shit. 56 miles and took 30 l of fuel. :banghead: Where's that reflash??????????

When my motor went , Polaris told them to change all the mounts and the updated one because I had 4000miles on it,new torque stop too.The power is very noticeable. I also put V-Force 3 on too and they make a huge differnce in throttle responce, they have to open the intake boots so the air flow is improved.

How does the clutch temp seem to be with the new mounts and stop?
Is it still hotter than h**l or does it go alot coller than before?
Hope the mount puts an end to the fried belts.

Pete I had a problem with my power valves it was not a electrical problem at all, the soleniod was just stuck open. If you clamp off the vent hose with a small pair of vise grips and it has normal top end you will know that this is your problem. Digital wrench will not diagnosis this because it will only check for electrical problems.

I have an idea the new motor mounts are not the problem for poor belt life. Snowtech said the secondary was dropped down 3" to cure the problem in 06 :banghead:

You need to get a job with Polaris testing. If you can go through belts like this, maybe, just maybe, it is at least a teeny bit your fault.

Dropped my sled off today, seen the mount kit.
It contained:
LH rear mount, torque stop, 1 large plastic washer, 1 large steel washer, a long bolt and nuts, loctite and instructions.

The 'new' torque stop is not as good as the one we've been using all season. I don't have the part numbers but the stop out of an '04 800 is better than either the stock Fusion or updated parts.

My 800 Torque stop is junk after 230m and just got the mount kit ( friggin joke .... a bolt , washer , washer ........ ) I had just left the dealer and saw a pull in on his sled and with all 4 new mounts and the new mount kit it still blew a belt after only 170m ( it was an 1098 too ..... )
So next fix will be ???????????????????????????? :banghead:

that is the same part # as the Fusion torque stop so I don't see how it could be better?

I got the new mount and torque stop a week ago, have done in 2 belts since then, and the 3rd one is on it's way!! That was in 300m! So far this year in 2500m I've gone through 12 belts, if they weren't on warrantee I wouldn't be able to afford to ride the thing. What I've found is that during trail riding the belts seem to last better, but if you go into the powder the clutches heat up bad and the cords start coming out of the belt. Seems like the clutches are slipping, and glaze the belt then it's just a matter of time till the belt is toast. If you check out the Tri City Performance website you'll see a bunch of products to keep the RMK clutches cool, seems the fusion is just as bad. I can't believe that Pol didn't figure this one out.
The other problem I have is that every time I ride in the powder for any length of time my sled starts to bog to the point that it's barely moving. I shut down wait a couple of minutes and then it's fine for a mile or so before it starts doing it again, Engine temp is fine, runs at a consistent 128f. Dealer has no idea why this is happening, and he also has a demo doing the same thing. I think that the clutches are getting so hot they are not backshifting properly which just makes the situation worse. Has anyone else had this problem?
I gotta say I've had so many problems with this sled I think Pol should be payin me as a tester!! This clutch problem is only one of a very long list.

I've had the same problem only it's only happened once. Bad part was I was on a 7 day riding tour, started in Falcon Lake MB, then into Minnesota and up into Ont. My sled lasted 4 days before I lost the mag side piston, and in that 4 days I spent half a day in Baudette Min. getting a leaking Jackshaft/chaincase seal fixed. Had to get someone to trailer me twice because of these problems, and ended up loosing the last 3 days of the trip. Had to rent a truck to get me and my sled back to Falcon L. So much for my vacation! I gotta say you just don't expect this kind of thing from something brand new, even if it is a 1st year sled. I could've kept my old sled and actually been confident that it would last.
I'm now going after Pol to take this lemon back, and give something that works. Only problem is I don't think they anything that works, that I want. I'm not convinced that the changes for 06 will make any difference.
