Have read a lot of comments about this area the last week or two. Taking our last trip up (possibly last of the year) tomorrow, saturday, and would like it if someone could give me directions to a place to park the truck and trailer with direct trail access. Any lots/ pull-offs. Thanks in advance!

91n to exit 19 onto I93 towards littleton NH. take exit 1 go left at the end of exit ramp to RT2 north for about 25miles to RT102 north. go about 10 more miles on the left see maidstone state park entrance. go a few miles in and take a right to find the parking area. if you get to the lake turn around you missed the parking area. good luckl

or save all the driving and park behind the north concord country store on rt2 only 10 miles or so from hghy. if thats full continue up rt2 a few miles and park on the right at miles pond (you'll see snowmobile crossing sign)

If you want to cut your drive down and ride time up you may want to stop and unload just past the Concord store (about 2 miles ) If you go under the power lines you have gone to far. When traveling past the Concord store, now called Bernie’s a red building on your right all by itself past Concord center you will see a snowmobile crossing sign. Look for where the trail crosses the road. Just passed it there is room to park. That trail is 102, just head north. It may be a little scratchy the first mile or so but it gets good quick. From 102 north which is the power line the first big intersection you come to is Rt 2 and 102 other wise known as the balls, because of the makers on the power lines. Just keep heading north and you will find some real nice riding ether around Maidstone, Rt 98 or the “secret trail” 1.

thanks for the directions. ended up parking at the trailhead at the maidstone lake state park. first mile was funny. started heading down the trail, and noticed my mother's headlight fading back farther and farther in my mirror. had to stop and ask what was wrong. she told me she was going slow because we were still on the road. told her, no we weren't, these were the actual trails. so much different than what we are used to. 30 feet wide and smooth as glass. glad i learned the "secret handshake" and was allowed access to your secret trail. the route 1 loop had the most beautiful scenery and were smooth as heck. towards the afternoon, the sun really softened things up and the moguls were starting to show up. went down 102f (i think) to lunenburg to get gas. the bit of road riding was nasty and the pipeline down was really becoming bare, but minimal traffic and through the woods were nice. all in all a terrific trip, and i will definitely trailer to this lot next year. i can only imagine what it is like when the temps stay cold, and the snow depth is normal! thanks for the suggestions and directions all season! :div20:
