UPDATE: Just talked to relatives in Racine, MN. They are under the gun for up to 20 inches! This is a great area with wide ditches and a decent trail system.
I should be there Sunday morning 10:00 at 7th Rib parking lot (HUGE LOT)
Anyone in on this?

Hey, do you have an exact address? I'm about 2 hours north... We were told 6-10" and we have less than 1"!!!!
How many miles of trails/ditches do you think will be ridable?

Bascically anything south of Zumbrota, MN which is on HWY 52 wll be rideable. We have a great trail system here when it snows.
Oh and Albert Lea area has more snow right now then the Rochester area. That might change after tonight because its suppose to get heavier this afternoon/tonight north of Rochester.
Have fun be safe. There will be lots of people out this weekend.

Racine is a good area with wide ditches and good trails. It's located on Hwy 63 south of Rochester about 10-15 miles. We will be there Sunday morning. I'm sure many will be out tomorrow also.

I should be able to go. I figure it is about 1 1/2 to 2 for me. I am sure that Nick will puss out though. He has had his skirt on lately. It would be cool to get a big group. It is going like crazy in Albert Lee right now. Was told by a buddy there they are looking at 20" when it is all done tomorrow morning.

I just got back from this area(Oronoco, Douglas, Byron, Stewartville, & Racine) and it was great in the A.M. but changed pretty significantly as the day went on. Lots of traffic!! Snow was better as we headed south from Oronoco but was getting bare in certain areas of the trail. It was above 32 deg. so it was melting a bit but the sun wasn't out so that helped. Snow got pretty sticky by mid-afternoon. You guys should be ok on Sunday but but between the warm temps. and the settling it won't be exactly what a person might expect from a 20" snowstorm....... All the roads and parking lots that were .covered in the A.M. were down to the pavement by 3:00 P.M.
Have fun!!

Great ride what happened to the rest of you? Not a lot of miles and no groomed trails but snow up the you know what at Forestville state park someone told us they had 30 some inches of the white stuff. We didn't even try to go completely thru in fact we made it further than anyone else had.
