The other day I drove by a sled for sale. 1996 MX-Z 670.
Studded track, reverse, and very low mileage (under 4000kms).
I stopped and looked over the machine, and the sled is extra clean.

I haven't gone back to see the guy, but I'm just curious what you guys would say is a reasonable asking price for this sled. My biggest worry about this sled is that 3 of my buddies had 1998 670 MX-Z's and all of them blew the motor around the 5000km mark. None of them where raced, just regular trail riding.

Any input would be appreciated, thanks.

3 for 3, I would stay away if they blew up and weren't beat

Nothing wrong with those sleds and two strokes do smoke pistons so don't worry about others problems. I would say anything under $2000 CND would be a good price.
ICEMAN!
I picked up my 98 MXZ 670 in January for $2500. Cheapest I could find one for at that time. It now has over 9000K on it without a rebuild. Goto www.dootalk.com - lots of threads on the 670. Great motor.
