$6500.00 canadian for my 50th to trade on an 06 900 with racer graphics. What a joke. I am not happy with Polaris and my dealer. My dealer talks like I am the only one with problems. Going to try another dealer.

I got $7500 for an 03 800 sks a few months ago. Just called another dealer and he will give me $8500, guess I have a new dealer.

too bad Polaris wont give you 05 fusion owners a brand new 06 and junk the 05's

I left Polaris in 95 when the came out with the Xtra-12 and didnt tell us it would take 5 miles to see top end and have no lowend or mid range.

Not to mention Polaris is like Cat. they build the first year sled hot and de-tune it from there.....93 XLT, First XC700, etc....

Until it can be proven that the "updates" actually do anything to the Fusions performance, they are worth absolutely dick on trade.

Performance Rec in Orillia, Ont has NEW 05 Fusion 50ths on sale for $8599 CDN right now and cant sell them for that price.

My local dealer is offering $7000 on trade for 05 Fusions with under 2000 miles.

AHHHHH, my 98 XC 700, what a friggen ROCKET that thing was!!! WOO HOO!
The power was like flipping the light switch, on or off, but when it was on, it was ON!! That thing was fast for sure. Way faster than my pig 05 is for sure

Same with my 01 600 I guess, that thing was WAY fast for 600. Hope the new 6 runs the same or better!!

They are more focused on a sled which has a broader power band and appeals to a wider audience. It's not all about peak HP anymore. I'd take today's engines, even if they are down in power, over any engine from yesteryear.

at this point, i'd take the offer. you aren't going to do much better right now. sleds only depreciate as they get older.

I wish my fellow Fusion owners would relax a little. I'm sure Polaris will figure out and fix all the little problems on the 05 Fusions.
Polaris isn't number 1 or 2 in sled sales for doing nothing, they will help their customers.
The most inconveniance we have is going back to the dealer for a few new parts or re-programming.

Or pulling it home after it runs out of gas.

If that is about $4,500 US, that is fair. That is what they are giving in the US...Brand new 05's are $6,500. They may be able to sell a used 05' for $5,000, which if they give you $4,500, they can make $500 on the deal. It really is not that bad an offer considering the Fusion has about the worst reputation of any sled I can ever remember. You may as well keep it, and put a few thousand in to it to make it worthwhile to ride.

Oh, forgot one thing, there is a saying that goes a little something like this:

A sled is always worth more crashed than sold. Get the hint???

Just curious in the difference in prices you give. You refer to $6500.00 trade-in towards a 06 900 c/w race graphics, and $8500.00 trade-in from another dealer. Were these over the phone or in person? Also were they retail to retail or wholesale to dealers best price? The bottom line is what are you paying difference?

It was 3100.00 Canadian differance (giving me 8500.00 for my 50th). My usual dealer would only give me 6500.00 off the same price so 5100 differance. Think I have a new dealer. Phoned today to talk to the salesman but he is not in until Monday. I think I am going to dump the 05 and go for it. I will keep you guys posted with the actual numbers.

That is $7K CDN, not US.

FWIW, an 06 Fusion is around $12K CDN.
