I was really hoping to purchase a new Crossfire 7 this fall, but I guess now it's not going to be happening. I was really hoping to see a Crossfire with the Sno Pro setup but I don't see it anywhere on the website. I really think Cat dropped the ball on this one. I really wanted the upgraded shocks. I'm also not a big fan of the painted tunnel and the lack of tunnel supports on it. The way I ride, the upgraded shocks and tunnel supports are a must! Other than that gripe it looks like a great sled. Guess I'll be waiting til 07 now.

I don't think they need the tunnel supports with the straight tunnel dunno.gif

Nevermind....tunnel isn't straight... dunno.gif

The way cats qc has been im gonna give it at least a year and see what develops then its probably goodbye f-7 trau14.gif NOT!!!!!!!!!.

It may not need tunnel supports, but the last sled I owned that didn't have them I really bent the hell out of the running boards from all the jumping. I'm also not really a big fan of the no spring ordering. In my case, I'm trying to decide between the Crossfire and a Renegade X, and if I decide to go with a Crossfire, then don't like any of the deals they have this fall, I could be screwed on getting a Renegade X since the X package is a spring only deal. I never thought I would own a Ski-Doo, but they're starting to look a lot better right now.

I would love to have a CF but will wait til they get reverse. I would also like chaincase and NOT the ACT drive!
strangeland2
if they can put the chaincase on the fcat why cant they put the same chaincase and reverse on the crossfire?

I thought one of the advantages to this sled was the ACT was lower in the chassis similar to the M-series sleds?
I just got my snowtech and they said it's the "Best riding Cat" they have ever ridden. :beerchug:
They also said the ACT drive failed on them one day :frech32: .........aside from that it was the favorite sled in they're test fleet this year which is all of the big iron on the snow, and some of the little iron also.
I too would like reverse but it won't stop me from buying this sled! :div20:

:celebrating: I checked out a C7 at my dealer and it seemed to be a sweet sled. The seating position and ergos felt great. It would be nice if they offered a shock upgrade or if they used better shocks to begin with but all in all I think it's a winner. :celebrating: flag_usa.gif :div20:
