I just installed my xr seat and there is a wire in the front and it is keeping me from being able to push the seat all the way foward does anyone have the same problem

You need to cut that wire off.

It's for the race sled. That cable hooks into the gas tank.

Yeah, it needs to be removed if you are NOT running the 5 gallon tank.
