I'm relatively new to VT... I've heard of years where there is 10 feet of snow in March, and others (like last year) when all the snow is gone by the third week of the month.

Thoughts about this year? Will we get any nice snow still or are we stuck with what is already on the ground?

We all better get out there and ride as much as we possibly can. It was 40 degrees here in Waitsfield today and the big melt out has begun. I plan on taking Thursday off and going for a nice spring ride.

Nope, a few years ago from what I've heard ... Mount Snow area. Of course, people do tend to inflate the snowfall amounts as years go by grinning-smiley-023.gif

March of 2001 was the big snow year. We received 10+ feet of snow in the month of March alone. If I remember right, the Town Meeting Day storm dropped over 40" alone.

I want more snow so I can hit the trails a bit more... but my roof is leaking so I kinda hope this is it for the season. I think the trails would win over my roof if I had to pick one though. grinning-smiley-023.gif

It would be awesome if we got one more big dump next week.
