Get yourself an 8mm and go do some squirrel hunting
My favorite gun by far out of my collection is my browning .280 A-bolt. That gun has been lucky for me since the first year I had it. Nobody ever kills any bucks during gun season where we go second weekend, and I got 3 bucks up there since I got the gun 4 years ago. I love it  It is a really nice gun. you can barely even tell a diference between a .280 shell and a 30-06 shell. They say that the .280 shoots a little flatter.

They had one of the old colt 1911's at the gun store too,I really like that style, I actually went back for the stainless colt a few days later, but naturaly it didn't stick around long. I like the 45 over the9mm just because of the stopping power. My neighbor has a large collection and invited me up to shoot a few of his gun to see witch ones felt better. He is a big revolver man, trying to talk me into going that root, but I think I will stick with the semi first. I must take him up on his offer before the winter is over.

Yes... I like the revolvers, my dad use to have a nice torus .22 LR,use to shoot it alot, he sold it for 90$, I was very pissed, and so was he when I told him it was worth about 4 time that. I would like to pick up a .45 and .38 and little .22 ruger, something cheep to shoot. When I was a member of the gun club at the air before it was shut down ,sometimes we would go next door where the ladies were making pottery, they would give us the pieces that didn't turn out and we hung them at the end of the range and shoot at them,we had alot of shooting them. :div20:

Where do you get that estimate from ??
I think your a little high on the 4x estimate.
I have several .22 pistols Ruger, S&W, and didn't pay that much for them brand new. Even for the 50th Ann model. I am sure he could have gotten more than $90 but not 4x that much.

Here are my latest long guns that I have purchased in the last few months. The top one is a Winchester 1894 in .32 Special and the other is a 1894 in .30-30, brand spanking new, manufactured in 1959. No safeties on this bad boy. Know I just need a cowboy hat to take to the range with me.
