Location and amount of snow


I heard 8-14 inches for the NEK

Who knows what we have, there's 35 mph winds. Rode 50 mi tonight, some of the funnest riding I've ever done!!
Felt like I was driving a Jet Ski though the powder!

Thanks for the update Weeza!! Sounds awesome!! :banana: I wonder what the east side of Jay got? Anybody?? Last weekend the banks up over the Mountain to Berkshire (not sure of the trail #) were 2 ft over my head. Hopefully the tree cover up there will keep from blowing all around.

While they're probably not the most unbiased source, the Jay Peak ski area website is reporting 14-16 inches of new snow. Take it for what its worth........

We only received about 3-4" of snow at my place in Waitsfield from this latest storm and we had gale force winds all of last night. Unfortunately the snow we got was barely enough to cover all of the ice that froze up after the rain and temps in the high 40's on Monday.

mostly 10 - 12 in the NEK. Sutton reported 10" last night. It was coming down hard last night for a while.

we have gotten 12" to 14" here on the ground in and around the butterfield parking lot off 302 on the groton/topsham line, drifts are running 3' no trailers in the lot at all, with cold temps all week come on up for the best riding ...all you have to do is watch out for the groomers :augen41:

I don't live too far from Jay, just a little south, close to Smugglers Notch and I got about 6"...... My camp is right near Sutton, so I'm looking for ward to boonedocking it through another fresh foot that is on top of the other fresh foot from last week...... :fluffy:

I would love gtops ruler !! i would say here in Topsham we got around "6 , my son and i rode over to Groton tues. afternoon made the senic veiw ride ( 3 mile loop ) and back to topsham and at that time i would say they had about the same, the wind was very strong and blowing the snow around alot so really hard to say how much we really got ! but they say more comeing are way sometime fri. into the weekend ! hay gtops maybe we will meet up sometime ?!! ride groton with my son all the time ! :div20: :beerchug:

hey greenf i did'nt use a ruler it was my arm... lol but if you went riding around the 2004 trail, it was easily a foot , by the way i'd love to hook up and ride always lookin for fun, but i just may be done for the season i'm headin to the keys for 2 weeks ,figures best ridin all season , and as you know we'll only need 2 days at 50 degrees this time of yr and we're toast

Hay qtops i didn't get down to trail 2004 but i sure hope to this weekend ! i not sure who is luckyer you for going to the keys or me getting to ride ! have you been out at all this week ? and i know what you mean about the temp. and snow going fast, have a sfe and fun trip ! i'll be thinking of you while i'm out rideing :beerchug:
